ARTS + CULTURE

Sarah Walsh is a licensed architect based in New York. She graduated from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and Écoles d’Art Américanes de Fontainebleau in France. After studying and working ten years in New York under multi-disciplinary artist and lighting designer Joel Fitzpatrick and architect and furniture designer Chandler Pierce, she relocated to Washington, DC. Her DC career started at Gensler, earning architecture and interiors hospitality experience both internationally as well as developing the local DC restaurant scene. Moving to Marriott International’s Global Design Luxury Team, she is Director of Design Management and focuses on EDITION and W Hotels. After almost a decade in DC, she relocated back home to NY.

The quiet time of 2020 gave her the space to begin painting and is building her studio locally.
